A Fellow of the American Association of Family Physicians and the American Medical Directors Association, Dr. Berkowitz has presented at regional and national conferences on multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. He believes patients play the most important role in their healthcare and prioritizes building strong relationships to understand each individual’s goals and needs. His clinical approach emphasizes holistic wellness—incorporating nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being—along with primary care and chronic disease management. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
